Lung Research Studies

Testing a new diagnostic tool for lung cancer

Help us validate a convenient new blood test.

We’re validating a blood test to screen for lung cancer. We hope this innovative new test may one day indicate if you need further evaluation.

Early detection matters. Detecting cancer early can improve treatment outcomes and survival. The 5-year survival rate for lung cancer is 8x higher if found before it spreads!

Who is eligible?

You may qualify for this study if:

  • Current or former smoker
  • Age 50 years or older
  • Have scheduled or are willing to schedule a low-dose CT scan

Shape Medicine's Future
Help shape future treatment and standard of care. Clinical trials are the beginning steps of new ways to treat disease. Medicine moves forward with new research.
Deepen Self-Understanding
Understand your condition better. Knowing your mind and your body can help you better understand yourself.
Lift All by Uplifting Yourself
Be part of something bigger than yourself. There’s an old proverb that says: “A rising tide lifts all boats.” By helping ourselves, we are helping others.
Be the First to Benefit
Gain access to treatments that are otherwise unavailable. Clinical trials give participants access to new potential medications and healthcare that isn’t available anywhere else. The first person cured of a disease will be in a clinical trial.
Help Non-Responders
Give hope to those who haven’t responded well to existing treatments. There will always be people whose bodies don’t respond to otherwise useful medicines. By helping to create new medicines, you give many people hope.
