Alcohol Use Disorder

Looking to cut back on your drinking?

A new once-weekly combination therapy may potentially reduce alcohol cravings.

PLEASE NOTE: This study is enrolling at the Orlando, FL research center.

Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) is a medical condition characterized by an impaired ability to stop or control alcohol use despite adverse social, occupational, or health consequences. Symptoms can range from mild to severe and include an intense craving for alcohol, the inability to limit drinking, and continuing to use alcohol even when it causes physical or psychological problems.

AUD creates a direct and progressive pathway toward life-threatening liver damage, making the management of the underlying alcohol dependence critical for preventing or reversing the progression of Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease.
