MASH Studies
Excess fat buildup in the liver can lead to inflammation.
MASH studies may offer a promising path to effective treatments.
Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), is a growing concern affecting a significant portion of the population. This condition causes excess fat buildup in the liver, leading to inflammation and potential irreversible scarring of the liver.
While lifestyle changes are crucial to combatting metabolic liver disease, medical treatments must also be part of the healing process. MASH studies, including GLP-1s, may offer a promising path to effective treatments.
Who is eligible?
You may qualify for this study if:
- 18-75 years of age.
- Diagnosis of MASH (metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis)
- BMI greater than or equal to 27.
