Depression Research in Orlando

Currently taking a treatment for depression?

PLEASE NOTE: This study is enrolling at the Orlando, FL research center.

Psychiatric studies are essential for developing and evaluating new ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions like depression, bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, and anxiety. These trials may include new medications, psychotherapy techniques, neuroimaging methods, or medical devices.

For a potential patient, choosing to participate is a voluntary and personal decision that can offer access to potentially more effective, cutting-edge treatments. Patients also contribute to scientific progress, helping develop better options for future generations.

This research may be significant because it explores the potential to provide a rapid and durable treatment option for the millions of people living with clinical depression.

Who is eligible?

You may qualify for this study if:

You are able to travel to the research center in Orlando, FL.
You are currently taking an antidepressant.
You have experienced at least one major depressive episode.

If approaching from the south on Mills/17-92, Charter Research will be up ahead on your left, and you will turn at Nebraska.
From Nebraska Street (by The Gallery apartments), head north toward the parking garage.
The Charter Research parking garage is directly ahead, at the end of the street.
Continue into the garage and find a parking spot. Parking is free.

After you park, you will see this sign on the first floor, near the elevators. Follow the arrow.
Walk past the elevators, toward the building.
Continue on the walkway next to the driveway. The front door is ahead.
The front door is ahead on your left. Enter through the front door.
After entering the building, the elevator is directly in front of you. Take it to the 2nd floor.
