Alcohol Associated Liver Disease Study

Chronic, heavy alcohol consumption is the leading cause of Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease (ALD). This trial will examine the effects of GLP-1s on treating the liver damage seen in patients with ALD, as well as the ability to reduce alcohol cravings.

Preliminary Qualifications

  • You are 18-75 years of age.
  • You have a BMI ≥ 25.
  • You have a history of alcohol misuse for the prior 3 years through the time of screening, with an alcohol intake ≥ 3.5 standard alcohol drinks per day for males and ≥ 2.5 standard alcohol drinks per day for females, on average in the past year.

Free Memory Screen

A memory screen is a brief, simple test used to evaluate a person's memory and other cognitive functions, like language skills and thinking ability.

Preliminary Qualifications

  • You have the ability to consent to the test.

Alcohol Overuse Liver Disease Study

Chronic, heavy alcohol consumption is the leading cause of Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease (ALD). This trial will examine the effects of GLP-1s on reducing alcohol cravings, as well as treating the liver damage seen in patients with ALD.

Preliminary Qualifications

  • You are 18-75 years of age.
  • You have a BMI ≥ 25.
  • You have a history of alcohol overuse for the prior 3 years through the time of screening, with an alcohol intake ≥ 3.5 standard alcohol drinks per day for males and ≥ 2.5 standard alcohol drinks per day for females, on average in the past year.

Clinical Depression Study

This is a Phase 3 clinical trial, evaluating a new investigational drug for treating clinical depression—also called Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)—in adults. This research is significant because it explores the potential to provide a rapid and durable treatment option for the millions of people living with clinical depression.

Preliminary Qualifications

  • You have a diagnosis of Clinical Depression/Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) based upon clinical assessment.
  • You are currently experiencing a major depressive episode (MDE) of ≥8 weeks and ≤24 months duration.
  • You have experienced at least one depressive episode before the current episode.

Free Liver Screen

Metabolic liver disease is a growing concern affecting a significant portion of the population. This condition causes excess fat buildup in the liver, leading to inflammation and potential scarring. A FREE liver screen can check if you have indicators for liver disease.

Preliminary Qualifications

  • You are 18+ years of age.

Early Alzheimer’s Study

The purpose of this early Alzheimer's study is to find out if the study drug can possibly prevent, delay, or slow early symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.

Preliminary Qualifications

  • You are 55–85 years of age.
  • You have a diagnosis of mild- to moderate-Alzheimer's disease.
  • You can swallow capsules

Alzheimer’s Agitation Study

Agitation in all its forms—from finger tapping, nail biting and restlessness to excessive motor activity, verbal aggression, or even physical aggression—is particularly challenging because there are currently no effective treatments for it.

Preliminary Qualifications

  • 55+ years of age.
  • Confirmed high likelihood of Alzheimer's disease, using either a blood-based biomarker or cerebrospinal fluid biomarker.
  • Exhibit any of the following (or similar traits not listed): pacing, rocking, restlessness, yelling, repetitive motor activity, scratching, slamming doors, finger tapping, or kicking objects.
  • Agitation is not solely attributable to another psychiatric, medical, or environmental condition.

Alzheimer’s Biomarker Study

Imagine your body is like a car, and you want to know how it's running. A biomarker is like a gauge or a warning light on the dashboard, something measurable that may indicate if you have a disease, how well a treatment is working, or if you're at risk for a future health problem.

Preliminary Qualifications

  • You are between 60-90 years old.
  • You have a close study partner.

Alzheimer’s Cortisol Study

The investigational drug was developed in response to evidence of a strong association between chronically-raised cortisol levels and the development of cognitive impairment in Alzheimer’s disease. The drug is designed to target and block production of cortisol inside brain neurons.

Preliminary Qualifications

  • You are at least 50 years old.
  • You have mild or moderate dementia, likely to be due to Alzheimers, in the opinion of the Principal Investigator.
  • You have a reliable study partner.

Alzheimer’s End-Of-Life Study

The purpose of this end-of-life study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a new brain (PET) scan in accurately detecting Alzheimer’s disease. We hope that earlier, more accurate detection of Alzheimer’s disease will one day allow patients to confirm their diagnosis more easily, and then they can confidently begin new treatments that may delay—or eventually even reverse—the progression of the disease.

Preliminary Qualifications

  • You are 50+ years of age.
  • You have a projected life expectancy of less than or equal to 1 year.
  • You can lay down for a brain scan (PET scan).

Weight Loss & Diabetes Study

While weight management strategies exist, finding long-term solutions and understanding the root causes of obesity remain ongoing challenges. If you’re worried that you can’t manage your weight now or in the future, then joining an obesity study might be a great option for you. It might just help future generations, too.

Preliminary Qualifications

  • Clinical diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes
  • BMI > 30 or
  • BMI > 27 with hypertension, dyslipidemia, cardiovascular disease, or obstructive sleep apnea

Weight Loss Study

Obesity is a complex disease with many underlying causes and impacts on health. This study is to test a new drug with the potential to deliver substantial body weight reduction across the spectrum of obesity.

Preliminary Qualifications

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You have a BMI greater than 35.
  • You have—or have experienced—one or more of the following: type 2 diabetes, heart attack, stroke, or peripheral arterial disease
